Catherine Hill is a multi-award-winning contemporary textile artist from Lancashire, based in the UK.
Interested in the connections between landscape & home, her pieces journal local dialect and domestic life in Lancashire during the 1970’s.Vintage thread, cotton cloth & the colour red, inspired by the Red Rose of Lancashire, form the basis for her hand stitched art.
