Hand sewing, hand embroidery and hand quilting are the most perfect ways of slow stitching. I find it almost meditative. Life slows down and I focus on nothing more that the next stitch.

I fell in love with the orange and yellow – so vintage!
It’s a beautiful and small square table cloth. Sear-sucker with gorgeous thin stripes of colour. I love it. It’ll have pride of place at my next vintage tea party.

This music box was a real find!
I couldn’t resist this small vintage wooden inlay box – German or Austrian I believe. I’m not sure of it’s age. It was in full working order, and had the most beautiful hand made lid.
