Hand Embroidery is my favourite pass time. I love a bit of Slow Stitchery. My local branch of the Embroiderer’s Guild created a ‘Bunting’ challenge and asked each member to create a triangular piece of hand stitched work to add to it.

I love any opportunity to playing with threads. Part of the challenge was to incorporate red thread and specific letter (it will eventually spell out the name of our branch).
I started with a letter L, and added flowers, leaves and afinally a little bumble bee.
